A quick google search for free xhtml skins reveals a number of free DNN skins using the XHTML doctype.

Hope it helps,

Brian:

Your suggestion made me check, and I have a module I'm developing using the AJAX Control Toolkit Calendar that is working properly with the following doctype:

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">

I actually thought that it was very easy to deploy the AJAX Toolkit, it worked the first time for me (I do tend to read the documentation first however).

Is it really not supposed to work, or is my doctype equivalent somehow???

Carlos

The Ajax Control toolkit does work wit the standard default DotNetNuke Doc Type (Transitional) HOWEVER not all of the Ajax Control toolkit works. For example the Modal popup does not work unless you change the doc type to XHTML. The Calendar popup does work fine with Transitional.

thanks All of you for replying me. It helps me a lot.

I just add following code to Defualt.aspx.vb and my calendar control works fine

If DotNetNuke.Framework.AJAX.IsInstalled then

DotNetNuke.Framework.AJAX.RegisterScriptManager()

End If
