hi,

i created a new module in dotnetnuke that works perfectly;

however, i was trying to search for its content using the dotnetnuke search engine but no search results were returned knowing that the ISearchable interface is already implemented, and in the module definition settings , under "Supported Features" the Searchable check box is checked.

Please Reply back asap..thanks

Re-Index your site and make sure, the iSearcheable interface has been implemented correctly.

thanks Sebastian or the fast reply, ive re-indexed the site several times and i'm sure that the Isearchable is implemented correctly,,the problem is that only within Text/HTML module, we can search for any keyword but for any new created modules(modules that includes controls,grids,and etc..)..it doesnt work!! Tomorrow i will send u the implementation of the isearchable, but do you think there is another problem?

I am sure, that your implementation of iSearcheable is the key, but you might also try to clear the search tables before re-indexing your site.

please make sure you've got a businesscontroller node in your dnn manifest file i.e.

<businesscontrollerclass>DotNetNuke.Modules.Documents.DocumentController, DotNetNuke.Modules.Documents</businesscontrollerclass>
