Thanks Michael.  Do you have any instructions on where/how to add methods so I can use IWeb on my DNN 4.8.2 portal with a PDA?  I have done all the testing on my test site (not a DNN source or compiled site just a regular ASP.NET VB site) and it works just fine (with the exception of having my PDA talk to the web service).

I sm stuck between a rock and a hard place with this as I have never had to work with web services and PDA's talking back and fourth before... :(

Yes see:

Great, I didn't find that in my searches.  One other question, my mobile app is not in the same solution and right now does not "talk" back and fourth with the website other than using SQL Merge Replication, so how would I get this to work with my newly created IWeb method?

I'm sorry but I do not understand the question.

I have a mobile application I need to call a web service method before a Merge Replication Sync takes place to validate rows in the mobile apps SQLCE database against my backend SQL server database.  Sorry I don't know how to explain it any other way.

An IWeb method is just a normal web services method that is able to easily communicate with DotNetNuke. It appears you need to make a web services method to communicate with your SQLCE database. This should be easy to do. There is nothing specific about IWeb that should affect this.
