Whenever I make an amendment to the code of my DNN site, asp.net rebuilds all the contents of the site including those who have not been modified. This causes an inevitable slowdown of work.
Can I avoid recompilation of the non-modified code?
There is the possibility of change the code in-line during debugging of my DNN sites without stop the execution (This slows down a great deal of work)?
Thanks for any help!

If you are altering any code that is not under the "App_Code" directory and you want to do a build, you can use Build/Build Page.

Also, you never have to build at all if using the WSP format, you just save the page and re-fresh the web browser. Only the changed code will be re-compiled.

You can also use Attach to Process for debugging.

In this moment I'm using the WSA model attaching to process for debug, so in this way every time I make a change to my module all web site is recompiled (the code change in my case only one dll in bin directory of my site), is correct that the entire site is rebuilt for the modification of a single dll?
About to modify the code in-line there is no way to work as windows form application, I must stop the debug every times I need to change a line of code, is it right?
Thanks to Michael for the response!

I think you mean you use the WSP model. I don't use that model normally (though I did for the webservice in Windows Workflow Foundation (WF) and DotNetNuke ) however, I think you should be able to righ-click on the module project  and select build so that it only build the module .dll in the bin of the DotNetNuke site, and then refresh you web browser.

I am unsure what you mean about the Windows form application.

I use WAP model as described at this link  In this model as You've just said, whei I compile, only the module dll in the bin directory is built. But once DNN realize the change in the bin it rebuilds the whole site!

About Windows form application I wanted to say that I normally program windows applications and not web application, and the most troublesome difference I found is that when I debug a windows application I'm able to change the code in line during debug, Instead during debugging web applications I'm no able to do it. Is this correct or something I'm wrong? (I hope that my bad English has been understood)

Regards!
