Here is what we did:

        Private Function ParentDNNModulePage(ByVal MyCtl As Control) As DotNetNuke.Entities.Modules.PortalModuleBase
            Dim MyParent As DotNetNuke.Entities.Modules.PortalModuleBase = TryCast(MyCtl, DotNetNuke.Entities.Modules.PortalModuleBase)

            If MyParent Is Nothing Then
                MyParent = ParentDNNModulePage(MyCtl.Parent)
            End If

            Return MyParent

        End Function
    
        Private Sub Page_Init(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Me.Init
            _MyParent = ParentDNNModulePage(Me.Parent)
            ModuleConfiguration = _MyParent.ModuleConfiguration

So on your user controls, inherit this class and then all the regular properies like ModuleID are populated. Anyone see problems with this?

Thanks a lot , Now I got different issue . After my User Control gets loaded I am not not getting events like button click , hyper link click... , but i am getting page load , page init event . seems like event handled are not getting registered when i use loadcontrol()  function

please help me
