I found the problem. The instantiate in the DataProvider has changed. Once I changed it it worked fine.

I'm also having this problem but it is only affecting ascx files that have a user control.

Works fine in development or open source packages but as soon as I precompile and package it this app_global.asax load error occurs.

Has anyone found a fix for it yet? I played with different ways of loading the user control to a panel or place holder but got the same results.

All other ascx files in the same module work . It only happens to the ones loading a user defined control.
