If your emails go everywhere else except to hotmail they, hotmail,  are squashing your emails.

I had this issue and now send all my outgoing emails via a third party SMTP service, problem solved.

Sadly there are literally hundreds of reasons why an email may not get thru these days.

And its very unlikely that the cause is DNN itself since it really does very little beyound using standard SMTP mail rounties which are embeded in ASP.NET.

In most causes the cause is traceable back to the EMAIL SERVER that you web hosting provided uses.

Top 3 reasons.

1. IP or IP's of SMTP SERVER logged on a SPAM list
2. IP or IP's of SMTP SERVER logged on a BLOCK list
3. REVERSE DNS RECORD for SMTP SERVER not found or not correct

It must be something to do with my mail server as email to all other addresses get through no problems. Its just hotmail addresses that don't get through, they don't even make it to the junk folder!

Looks like it is a widespread problem,
