To fix this, you will need to open the DotNetNuke.Store.Providers.Tax.DefaultTaxProvider project. You will need to download the source code for the store project and open the solution. Once you have the solution open, go to the TaxController.cs class located in the root of the project and search for GetTaxRates. This method is not closing the DataReader. Swipe the code from the top of the thread and paste over that method and recompile the DefaultTaxProvider project. Be sure to do this in release mode.

Hope this helps

Henry,
Many thanks for posting what you found.

I don't understand why an updater hasn't been posted for this? Not everyone can do what's needed to implement the fix.

In that regard, if anyone wants the updated dll, just send a request to eric at swanzey dot com and I'll reply back with the attachment.

Henry

I 've looked for the provider in the location you have sugested I had already looked in the same location but the file isnt there.

I just cant beleive that such a critical error that not only stops the module from working but also crashes the website hasnt been fixed yet.

Have you downloaded the source version of the store? I suspect that you are using the Install version not the source. Please download from here

Another option is to email the project lead, Gilles Le Pigocher using this email: glepigocher@yahoo.fr requesting the 2.1.1 patch which includes this fix.

regards,

Any posibility of posting the patch for 2.1.1 here? I tried to contact the project leader at the email you specified but no luck there.

Thanks
