SOLUTION: Change the Paypal payment url to https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr/

PayPal has now got a known issue with multi-part form data. I spent two hours on the phone with them tonight discussing the problem. They are working to fix the issue and then the module will work correctly again. Boy did this make me look bad to a client when I tested it in March and everything went thru and then last week we started getting this issue and cannot get past the 500 internal server error at PayPal. It would be nice to know how to change the source code so that this would work.

I'm having the same problem as well. I did try the fix noted above of changing the payment URL. Still no joy.

edit: this is on a site that has been working and processing payments just fine for well over a year.
