Hi there!

I think there is an issue with the paypal provider.

I had an order last night and I received the emails for the order awaiting payment.  But it never came back as status of Paid.  I went and check my paypal account and it was indeed paid.
Then went back and checked the status in the store and it was still Awaiting Payment.
It doesn't look like the store is getting the status back from paypal that the order has been paid.

I also noticed that the shipping was listed under handling instead of shipping.

Order Description:
Shopping Cart
Item Total:
$27.00 USD
Sales Tax:
$0.00 USD
Shipping:
$0.00 USD
Handling:
$4.00 USD

Thanks!

Jonathan

I had this issue and Gilles assisted me in determining that the Store Account module must be set to allow everyone access in order for PayPal to send back the response successfully. If your Store Account page or module is setup with admin only or registered user only access then the PayPal status will change but your store status will remain Awaiting Payment. Thank you again for your assistance Gilles!

Hi,
Does the page the store admin module is on need to also allow eveyone? or just the module itself?
I have the page access for viewing or editing set to admin only and the module set to admin only.

Is this something new since the stable release?
I know that setting the Store Admin module to only allow administrators to have access worked in the stable release.

Thanks!

Jonathan

Hi Jonathan,

Could you verify in your site logs if a Store Alert Message is present?
If an alert is present you should be able to discover why the payment was rejected by the IPN with the reject reason.
If not, could you verify in your PayPal backoffice if IPNs are waiting? If one or several IPN are present, verify if the IPN url is correct, it should be something like: www.yourdomain.tld/DesktopModules/Store/Providers/GatewayProviders/PayPalProvider/PayPalIPN.aspx

Could you tell me where the shipping and handling are inverted?

Gille

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Hi Dave,

I have changed this behavior in the last beta versions. Now IPN are managed by a separate page and it's no longer required than the Store Account module permisions was defined to everyone! :-)
