Thanks. Has anyone else tried this? I am not using the store in production right now, so I have not thoroughly tested my solution. I don't know if this breaks anything else that may depend on a certain format for the image URL. If it doesn't, then it  may actually have fixed Issue STO-2436 http://support.dotnetnuke.com/Default.aspx?p=31&i=2436

I noticed that when using the unpatched store module, the path to local images was incorrect in the "Products" view of the "Store Admin" module. It now displays fine for me.
