I had the DNS changed from readyhosting to ihostasp yesterday which caused the site unavailability for you. Nothing to do with the hosting company. http://ohiostate.escoutroom.com is another way to get to the site.

I am using m6.net for my ASP.NET hosting and am running 1 DNN instance with multiple portals.  I am also running 4 other ASP.NET websites with them and have have a pretty good experience with them.  THe price is right and their support staff is VERY helpful!

Sorry to hijack this thread but how is the performance on M6.net? I'm looking to switch from webhost4life because of the terrible performance, and I have the same thing as you: 1 dnn instance w/ 5 subportals.

M6's performance is pretty good.

Per third party monitoring websites I have been having a yearly uptime average of about 99.89%.  Which for my sites isn't anything to be concerned about.

I have had a few issues with overloaded application pools, however within 12 hours they had me moved to a different app pool and performance was back on par with what is to be expected.

I have been using IHostAsp.net for about 4 months now. I have to stick up for them. I am very happy so far. I am satisfied with my site speed and I haven't even done all the tweeking yet to caching, compression, etc. They have automatic installs and for the faint of heart, for 25 bucks they will upgrade your installs to the newest versions of DNN as they come out.

Boy, as luck would have it, my ihostasp.net site is down. Let's see how they do:

T=0 notified that site is down via ticket.
T=70 minutes. Site up but broken. No menus visible. Log in as superuser and only see one menu: host. No pages, only home page shows. Sent follow up ticket explaining that.
T=120 minutes Site appears to be back up and functional. I will do further testing.
T=150 minutes. Uploaded skins and modules are not showing in host or admin skin tab. They are available as options in the list when I go to a page or module to apply them.

I'll keep posting results as edits here.
