Mitchel: I just started a new thread in Survey Module Forum, re: Survey module and Quizzing Module, it might be of some interest to you.

Re: the Child portal thing, so we cannot mask the url? So the only solution, since I want the keep two portals separate, i.e. the visitor of the child portal should not know about the parent/ host portal, I should delete the child portal and make a new parent portal?

I had finally managed to make a child portal sucessfully! So, its not really true that you can convert a child portal to a parent portal by adding a alias. The only thing alias does is that it takes you at the same place, but when it takes you there, it shows parent/host portal in the url. This just sucks because now I have to learn how to create a parent portal in godaddy deluxe hosting account when dnn is not installed on the root.

I was able to setup a child portal and then point it to another domain and I have never had the wrong URL show up.  My site http://www.mitchelsellers.com was origionally a child portal under http://portal.iowacomputergurus.com/Mitchel When it was accessed via it's orig. alias I would occasionally see the alias listing...but now with its own domain I don't.

How are users actually getting to your site now?  Is the URL redirected to the /dnn folder?  If so the process is VERY simple to add a parent portal.
