cool little thing ... I wonder how he works ..... My idea was to save this pagerankingvalue in a db but I cannot get hold of that value so easily from a gif picture .... hmmmm

PageRank is a very slowly changing value so I don't know why you would want to store it in a database.

For fun here is another site that actually does a valuation on a website using PageRank and other stats:

$650K just for the website of DotNetNuke...  Not bad for open source.
