Thanks for this post. It was just what I needed to point me in the right direction on a project. I decided to try out Universal List and it seems to be working well for my project. I need to provide access to a bunch of tables to be modified by an application admin and UL has really helped speed up my application development. They are providing good support as well, even given the big time zone difference.

I also can only say great things about XMod as I have leveraged it more than any other 3rd party module in DNN over the last several years. And XMod just keeps getting better. Can't wait until XMod 5 finally gets out on the market. They also provide great support. My only issue with XMod is the XML storage format, which doesn't work that well if the data you are storing needs to be used by other custom modules.

Anyway, that is my $0.02.
