Bear in mind that SQL 2000 does not work on Vista - I personally prefer XP and went back to XP pro after a month on Vista Business...

I have not seen the blue screen of death in over 3 years on my current XP Pro system, but I saw it twice in one month with Vista already/

I will wait 6 months or so before I try it again.

Hey guys first of all, thanks a lot for responding on my issue...

After reading everyone's replies i can figure out that Windows Vista Business/Ultimate is worth buying rather than Home Basic if i want to try IIS 7... But if i want to work only on IIS 5.1 then i shall continue on XP..

Well that's ok but has anyone tried the Windows 2008 Beta Version which is available for download.. I would love to hear about it if someone has tried that..

And one last thing, can anyone tell me what can be the possible difference (whether it be performance/security/storage etc) if i use DotNetNuke with SQL Server Express and DotNetNuke with SQL Server 2005.. The point over here is that my hosting provider allows me to create SQL Server Express database for free but the SQL Server Database for $35.. So if anyone knows the difference, please post a reply then...

Hope to hear a reply soon.
