I have just had exactly the same problem.  Any one have any ideas on how to solve this?

I have a second DNN site on the same host account which works fine but that I no longer need.  Since I can't seem to solve the Host Error on the first site, would it be possible to move the configuration and all page content to the second site without messing it up also?  What files do I need to move so I don't have to start all over building a new site?

Hi, have you installed Ventrian Friendly Urls? http://www.ventrian.com/Resources/Projects/FriendlyUrls.aspx

If yes, you must read the thread below (it's saved me!)

I hope that help you to solve the problem.

Shawn, thanks for responding to this thread.  I'm not sure I understand what the  Friendly URL's program does.  Will that help with the Host Error on the existing site or will it help with copying the info over to a new site?  Sorry for my ignorance.

Shelley
