I confirm, (the difference is that it was not fresh install in my case) after upgrade to 4.7.0 I'm having the same issue. File manager doesn't "see" some folders (synching does not help). Also access permissions for some of the files were reset (in such a way, that even admin could not have restored access to them - had to log in as host) and are not inherited for subfolders.

Added comment to the issue in Gemini. This issue MUST be reopened!

On a side note: team should never rush out new versions like this.

I got the notification, I'm testing the suggested code change on a dev. server now. So far, it seems ok.
