What is the big difference between version 4.7 & 4.8?

If God does not live in Colorado, I bet he visits there a lot!!

You can view the specifics in Gemini, but overall mainly bug fixes and to add compatability for IIS7 and VS 2008

Mitch,

Thanks for the concise post about what is new in 4.8.  Not to rant but .... Every other software maker has a link on the front page that when clicked goes to a list of

1. Enhancements

2. Changes

3. Squashed bugs

Would it be very difficult for someone to copy and paste this somewhare for EASY access without having to go into Gemini?  Some of us just want a quick "What's new in 4.8".

Thanks

Mike,

There weren't a whole lot of noticable differences in 4.8 versus 4.7, but at PowerDNN we usually go through the change log and pull out the important stuff so it's easy to read. Click on the link below to check it out.  Like I said, not a whole lot changed but there were some good bug fixes.

John,

that is very complehensive, indeed, but I would sum up a little bit different:

DNN 4.8.0 introduces support for IIS7 pipeline (or integrated) mode, allowing web sites to run much faster. Besides there are minor enhancements for the LaguageSelector control (used in Newsletter) and dozends of bugs fixed.
