Jeremy,

I had to install from scratch using the DotNetNuke scripts in the Network Solutions's "Toolbox". Since the version you and I had before they .... well, how shall I say it politely, screwed up....the version we had was 4.8.0 (I assume it was the same for you). However, their automated scripts install version 4.5.3, so I'm not sure how you could keep your current database as the 4.5.3 won't work with a 4.8.0 database. Besides, you have no direct access to the database that their scripts create.

I had to recreate the entire website. Since I just started creating it last Wednesday and it wasn't even done it wasn't that much work for me. I hope this helps. If you can afford to keep trying to find a fix before you absolutely need to login please post it here if you find it. Have you tried complaining to Network Solutions tech support about this?

Emil

Emil,

    The company that sponsors the community center I did the website for is working on it.  However, I will have to call tonight and sit on hold since they've been having problems with large queue holds.

Hi!  I don't use DNN, but I am tracking down a problem that I believe is related.  Here is another fellow with a similar problem today:

http://forum.yetanotherforum.net/Default.aspx?g=posts&t=5534&&AspxAutoDetectCookieSupport=1

The stack trace is identical from the top down to Security.CodeAccessPermission.Demand.  So is mine -- we just have different method calls causing the Demand.

It looks to me like a bad security configuration on the host.  I am experiencing this on a Network Solutions shared hosting site, and if "yetanotherforum" would ever send me my registration email, I will ask "mbaudino" the same question.

Please post any information you learn about this issue!

thanks

All,

         Network solutions is aware of this issue now.  They didn't think to test there 4.5.5 installation with already existing 4.8.0 installations running.

         They are currently working on the issue and know of the problem.  They don't have a ETA of a fix so we may end up having to wait a long whie.
