IAmSoup,

I just wanted to step in here as well.  Rob is right on the money, there are silvers of truth to what the person said, but they are NOT accurate statements in whole.

DotNetNuke is a development framework.  DotNetNuke does allow extensions to be built called modules that add additional functionality to the sites. but trust me you can customize DNN to do amazing things, with honestly very little effort.  As for the number of developers, this is really a matter of perspective.  There are a lot of people that COULD develop DNN, but there is a smaller subset of people that actually KNOW DNN and know it well.

The key to a successful project with DNN is to work iwth someone that knows the framework and knows what the true limitations of DNN are.

I run a .NET consulting firm where I mostly work with DotNetNuke solutions, my company is IowaComputerGurus Inc..  Feel free to drop me an e-mail at msellers@iowacomputergurus.com if you would like to discus specifics or items in a non-public light.
