You need to be a competent ASP.Net developer to build modules for DNN so I suggest starting over at www.asp.net and use the getting started tutorials.  You can also do things like download the source versions of the modules on DNN and work out how the code was written to achieve the functionality, its not a trivial exercise though to be a DNN developer.

So, I need to learn asp.net to learn to build/modify modules??

not, visual basic and or c, right?

You need to learn pretty much little of everything when you design web applications with DNN.  ASP.net, SQL server, IIS management, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, yada yada yada...
