I kind of like the approach of having everything separate.  I'd rather be able to just download what I want and not bother with having stuff around that I would never use.

It would be nice if everything was in the same place and you didn't have to got to each project page to download the modules you wanted.  I like the idea of being able to assemble a zip file of packages to down load also.  That would be slick.

It might be a good idea also to make a bigger difference between install .zips and source .zip.  The average person coming along will always chose the one that looks like it will give them more or take both and waist server bandwidth. It would save at the least a bunch of questions in the forums with people trying to install source versions of the packages. :)

Just to clarify...

I like the seperate downloads too.  Just mentioning that it would be nice to have a single download page to go for all of the projects zips, and also, have a master zip of all of the projects, too.  I don't want to see the seperate downloads go away, just another zip added.

Ah, who cares about the extra burden on Scott?  He's not doing much anyway is he?  (I'm kidding Scott, haven't heard from you in awhile).  Couldn't get to the link, site down for maint, but will take a look later.  A common download page would improve it, but would keep the seperate project page download too, as it does make sense to provide it too.  Just about being flexible, it is a headache and adds work, but that's what we users do, huh.

Another issue with providing seperate project zips of source and install versions is ensuring that the zips actually contain all of the files.  I just downloaded the News Project source zip, and there is no codebehind in it.  Anybody else see the same thing in this zip or other project zips?  Now, that's really frustrating.  Scott Help!  (I really do want to take a look at this code to investigate some of the issues that have been coming my way with the News Feed RSS module.  Is that team still together?
