with both modules I mentioned you can specity, how moderation can be done, I am not sure about name colours, but maybe Avatars might be a better solution. Integration PHP BB will be for sure more challenging, especially as a single signon solution, where you need to pass login credentials securely.

Before you make a decision on what forums to use. Please look at one or both of the modules that Sebastian suggests. They may provide exactly what you are looking for.

Core Forums (Sebastian I can't find a link to download!) Avaliable in the DotNetNuke install (log in as host, then Host-> Module Definitions-> scroll to the bottom of the page and click the checkbox and click install selected modules)

ActiveForums module

Hi Michael,

I know, it became a bit more tricky to get to the projects download pages, but all projects are now listed on the left hand side pane on the Forge page (see Icon above). Each project has its own submenu including a download page. I would welcome, if all module would be listed in the Main forge list as well, but this is part of the webmaster's responsibility.

Oh there is a download link for the Forum project, it just doesn't show anything when you click on it
