I feel a little confused so to measure twice and cut once can i confirm this

  • Login as Superuser ("host" by default)

  • In Host Menu select item SQL ausführen

  • Copy the following 4 lines and paste them into the text box:
    truncate table {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}SearchItemWordPosition
    DELETE {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}SearchItemWord
    DELETE {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}SearchWord
    DELETE {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}SearchItem

  • Activate the check box and hit Run

  • The search index will be rebuilt automatically by the scheduler.

if i have it right, log in as host go to SQL then leave the top section blank ( locate file ) and in the body paste

truncate table {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}SearchItemWordPosition
DELETE {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}SearchItemWord
DELETE {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}SearchWord
DELETE {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}SearchItem

These 4 lines, hit the check box and run it.

I am confused only with the top section where it says

SQL ausführen

but i am guessing this is german for SQL ? or is this a file i need to locate and load ?

Thanks
Pete

Hi Pete,

sorry, this is a glitch when translating the original post from German to English, the german name for the "SQL" menu item is indeed "SQL ausführen". I just fixed this in the text, thank you!

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold
