Cathal,

I cannot find any parent paths in my skins or containers. I always use absolute paths. As the previous author states in this thread there is a problem with Google not coming back to the portal to index it. How can we fix this?

I have the same problem at my site (www.vipstory.se). The strange thing is that MSN finds all content on my site, including individual news published in the NewsArticle Module. But google does not go beyond the start page unfortunately, even though I have direct links to the main page from the Splash on the page. This is a serious issue which I hope we can work around soon! I am running 4.02. Is something different with 4.3 on this matter?

I have battled this same problem in a non-DNN site.  The code is simple and does not have one referrence to a ".." anywhere in any of the code or forms.  There error occurs on more than one page so that it is not page related.

I am beginning to this this is an ASP.NET V2.0 bug and might have to do with URL redirection.  I use  IHttpModule class for url rewriting on the site and possibly there is a bug in ASP.NET V2.0 regarding this.  It usually hits me when Google visits the site.

Here is an excellent description the bug in .NET 2.0 that causes this problem and a temporary solution to work around it until the Microsoft fixes it :
