Hey Alex,

Thanks for the information.  Do you have any information about what causes it?  I know that the caching code went under major rework in 4.9.0.  Is the code correct or is this a bug?

See this Gemini issue. Is this related?

http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx?id=8430&PROJID=2

The issue is that there is a "bad data" scenario.  The user had set his site to enable SSL.  When the upgrade happened, one of the scripts updates all Admin/Host pages to be secure - IF the site is set to Secure.

This is quite reasonable - if you are running a secure site you would want your admin pages to be secure.  And as there is no way in 4.x to change TabSettings for admin pages we decided to run script to make all admin/host pages secure.

So what is the problem.  Well in this case the user must have set the site level SSL property without installing a certificate, so his pages became inaccessible in 4.9.  Prior to the upgrade he wouldn;t have noticed, but the site setting would have had no effect as NO pages were set to secure.

The Gemini issue will probably be closed as there is no way to check/confirm that the site has a valid cert.
