I had been trying to get this resolved in the Documents Module forum as that is where I was having the problem. but Mitch is unable to solve it. DNN is useless as a content management tool if this feature is not working, asking client to use full urls, defeats the purpose. I need to get this fixed. Basically whetehr on the document module or the links module I get this error:

The resource cannot be found.

Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.  Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly.

Requested URL: /LinkClick.aspx

Site is on Win2008 server with IIS7, I have tried checking and unchecking all kinds of things, including aspx, to no avail, any more suggestions?

This has got to be a fixable issue.

Hi,

I had the same issue a few months back and it was because one of my devs deleted some files by accident. Take a look if everything is still there first.

The site is running in an integrated application pool, the host said they can change it to classic.

 Hey Steve,

We've noticed some issues with DNN on Windows 2008 but that mostly stems from the fact that not all developers have updated their code to be 2008 compliant and not all control panel vendors have done the same either.  If you'd like me to take a look, email me your domain name and control panel info and I'll take a peek (I dno't need ot know the logins, I just need to know what software).
