I am looking for any module or would be interested in communicating with anyone using DNN for the registration of animals like in a breed registry which can generate pedigrees, breed inventory reports, etc.

I am not familiar with the world of Pedigree.  However, that doesn't mean a module doesn't exist.  Let us know what the module would need to do and maybe one of us can poitn you in the right direction.

Pedigrees are very similar to a "Family Tree" and would require a lot of the same features (correct me if I'm wrong here). I think you may be able to find a solution in that realm that could be modified to work. The only problem is there are very few modules out there for a "Family Tree". I seem to remember there is a solution on codeplex from Chris Hammond but last I looked it is still in developement.

Here is a post on genealogy modules. Yes and animal pedigree program is basically the same, although you would need more options around breed, coat, etc.

I've been working on one, more specifically for horses, but with plans to expand it to other animals too. It is in its first revision but near ready for production.
