Dennis you can't go wrong with Catalook.  The price, features and support are outstanding.  And you won't have any problems using AuthorizeNet with Catalook.   There are also plenty of resources out there for Catalook including skins and dashboards (http://www.sigmaprodraconis.com/AdvancedTopics/CatalookIntegration/tabid/639/Default.aspx)

For some reason, I see very few reviews on Active Purchase which is from a company which makes ActiveForums which I like. I am not sure if Active Purchase is a subpar product compared with their Active Forums.

While Catalook seems powerful, it might be overwhelming for newbies. It has too many modules and it feels cluttered. If it's for yourself, it could be OK but if it's for people who are not technically adept, you might be getting a lot of support tickets.

Active Purchase fills a very specific need.  If you need a catalog to list your products Active Purchase is not for you.  If you have 25 products or less, looking for something similar to an order form and use Authorize.NET and/or PayPal, then Active Purchase will meet your needs.

I have not used Catalook, but I am currently using AliCommerce and ASPDNSF ML/DNN on active sites.

Both have a learning curve, but I seem to be able to use them both for the needs I have.

If you want to talk more offline, just let me know. You can contact me on the Contact Us form on the site in my signature.
