I noticed that the host account can only upload files now.  Is this a bug or a change is security?

I logged in as Admin/went to Admin/File Manager and managed to upload a file no problems.

Please supply steps to reproduce.

Assuming uploading via file manager is the issue, if you goto:
Admin/File Manager
And click on the Pencil icon (Settings) bottom right hand corner.

a) What permissions do you see? does Administrator have Edit permissions?

Regardless or whether you have to change the permissions or not, click the update button at the bottom.

Also check your file permissions via Windows, make sure security permissions are propogated down for child objects via the the Security/Advanced button

Users experiencing this problem please state which version of DNN you upgraded from whether solved or not.

Thanks....

Upgraded from DNN 4.8.4 to 5.0.  If I belong to the administrators group I should be able to upload.  The administrators group has a lock on it for View Folder and Write Folder.  I can upload from the HTML editor.  If I select Insert/Edit a link and choose to upload a file, it works fine.
