Hello,

I finally installed DNN 4.9 on 1and1 MS web hosting, after struggling for few hours.  However, I am getting the following error, when trying to register a new user and to add a page.  I believe, there are other areas where this happens.  But, things like deleting the module from the home page is working correctly as well as changing password for Admin user.

A critical error has occurred.
Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.

The error message doesn't really mean much to me, as I need more descriptive error messages to go find the problem and fix it.  Does anyone have any idea where I could get more helpful and descriptive error messages?  Did anyone have the same problem I am experiencing?  I have been fighting with this for last few hours, and it's getting on my nerves really bad.

Thank you very much for your help!

Yosep

Check the DNN event viewer and post the full error message

I don't recommend 1&1 or GoDaddy as a Hosting provider (sorry). There are plenty of better alternatives.

The event viewer is under the admin menu, in some versions of DNN (depending on where you started) it will be called event viewer, sometimes log viewer.
