I have not tested this but per ComponentOne's Reporting Component Documentation Oracle IS supported:

See Members Section:

http://helpcentral.componentone.com/nethelp/c1report/default.htm?turl=XMLDocuments%2FC1_C1Report_2%2Fhtml%2FT_C1_C1Preview_DataBinding_DataProviderEnum.htm

Here is a copy and paste of the help file:

The type of the data source. This will determine the syntax of the ConnectionProperties.ConnectString and Query.CommandText.

Namespace:  C1.C1Preview.DataBinding
Assembly:  C1.C1Report.2 (in C1.C1Report.2.dll)

Member name Description
  SQL
Microsoft SQL Server.
  OLEDB
Microsoft OLE DB Provider.
  ODBC
Microsoft Open Database Connectivity Driver.
  Oracle
Oracle.
  XmlFile
The XML file specified as the datasource, in this case the ConnectString contains name of file.
