The issue is #9292 that talks about this bug, hopefully someone with the powers can reopen it so we can get an xmlmerge written for the web.config to repair the damage caused by 5.0.0.

So for the past how many weeks..   there is a product available for download (or worse upgrade) that is deemed not production ready by the owner?   Isn't there a middle ground between "mission critical" and "internal or development scenarios"?   I assume that missing gap accounts for 90% of the DotNetNuke installs.

"Like any "dot-zero" product release, you can still expect to experience some functional issues with the 5.0 platform as it moves through the various stages towards maturity. As a result, at this point in time we still do not recommend the Community Edition 5.0.1 product for mission critical deployments; however, it can be safely used in internal or development scenarios. A production certified release of Professional Edition and Community Edition 5.1.0 is currently scheduled for April 2009, and you can expect a lot more news about this in the weeks ahead."

Haven't gotten to the upgrade yet, still working on merging the 2 branches...

Anyways, I did notice the App_Browser folder did not get renamed to App_Browsers

I'm using the Source zip... Haven't bothered to check the others yet...

This sounds like a catch... please log at support.dotnetnuke.com if you can with full details.... many thanks :)
