Oh now that is cool.  I hadn't gotten around to reading up on some of the new features in 2008 but that, my friend, is definitely worth it.

On that same note, kick me in the butt when I say this -- I had never actually bothered looking into the (n)varchar(MAX) to see what it really meant.  I made a baseless assumption that it meant 8000 in the case of varchar or 4000 in the case of nvarchar.  Looking it up I am pleasantly surprised to learn that it is 2^31-1.  Goodbye (n)text, hello better queries!
