Sorry, I did not mean to undermine your post, just wanted to provide another alternative.  It it just that I did not see the CREATE PROC in yours so I decided to post the full code I had.  I did not review the actual code logic, so they may actually work in the same way (or be exactly the same).

Hi, Carlos-  Your thread response didn't undermine / offend at all.  I was actually a bit excited to see your initial response and what I thought would be an alternative to the db table search routine I'd been using the last few years.  After a closer look I realized it was actually the same routine (except your copy still includes the proper dev credit plus a couple of added SQL2008 types).  I'm happy to now have the original code author's name plus your added data types for SQL2008.

Cheers!

Sorry my post came in so late.  I'm still moderated, hopefully that will change soon :) .

One final follow up in case you want to see the explanation from the hosting company.

Thanks for sharing that thread, Chuck.

For what it's worth, I have not heard any complaints from my own NetSol-based customers running DNN.  I've been laboring on sites under two other providers this past week so I wasn't (knowingly) hitting any NetSol-based sites myself -- hopefully this particular issue is over so I won't have the pleasure of seeing it on one of my customers' sites....

Had an issue with DNN 4.8.4 site on Network Solutions for the past 3 days.  I tracked it down myself.  Turned out to be a security issue.  Read the following thread.
