just to clarify - 'Please be aware, that DotNetNuke generates IL code only, which gets compiled for the target machine on the fly by the .Net JIT compiler.'

- does this mean all DNN stuff inluding DLL' s is either 64 bit or 32 bit dependent on the machine it running on ? - in which case there should be no problems ? - i was lead to believe some 3rd Party Modules may not be compatible with 64 bit architecture but that doesnt make sense if they are all compiled on the target machine at runtime ?

yes, AFAIK all modules do include .net IL code only which gets JIT compiled according to the target machine.

unless you are using 32-bit native dlls, yes.
