Well I think it actually affected my site,

Some time ago after upgrading to one of the 4.8.x/4.9.x  versions my PR dropped from 6 to 4 and google stopped updating with new Html content although the site does get crawled regularly, I think that google's cached version of the web site is exactly how google see your web site.

Asaf.

AFAIK, Google's formula for page rank is a well kept secret and they changed it a couple of times - which often results in dramatic changes for some sites.

As I said before, this needs to be investigated, I don't have a conclusion on hand atm.

We have confirmed there is a problem in the module output caching logic which was introduced in 4.9.1. This will necessitate a 4.9.4 stabilization release.

While the issue was part of DNN4.9.1, only version 4.9.3 is affected. One fix in 4.9.3 renamed the folder app_browser to app_browsers. That fix is correct, though it is acts also as a switch to enable the caching bug. As a quick workaraound, i suggest to rename temporarly the app_browsers folder back to app_browser. Afterwards all spiders will be treated again as any other browser, and your content gets indexed again.
