How can you discredit or bash a "person" who chooses to remain anonymous, yet is regularly discrediting everybody and anything on regular basis via these forums? Yet hardly lifts a finger himself.
At least you choose to reveal who you are Jan, so I respect your views.
If Brian chooses to reveal who he is by posting evidence of who he is, or maybe even show a single one of his websites, then maybe you will have a point. Then I will be discrediting a "person".
The real truth is he protects himself by hiding in anonymity which allows him to say pretty much anything to gain effect and walk away without consequences. It's not just this thread he's posting on, it's pretty much every thread that he can find an angle to needle into. NB he never seems to want to start his own thread, he just posts at the end of others for maximum effect, generally when we are only trying to help.
It is also clear he doesn't appreciate what open source is about - just an I'll have mine, you will have yours - sort of attitude. Also he states he is a "senior software developer" - sorry but all past evidence shows that this does not compute. Also I would not be surprised if he has another user account in these forums (I could be wrong, but I have an idea as to what this user account may be).
All the evidence right now shows that he has an agenda.... if posting this sort of stuff discredits me as a person, at least I deserve my reputation and the consequences, I'm happy to get what I deserve. Brian however hides away somewhere in Texas (perhaps) so really I'm just posting about an entity that can start another user account tomorrow.
I apologise for my attitude but this has been building up for some time. Occasionally I have a right to my opinion as well. Enough... I'll get back to doing what I do best and that is helping people and contributing towards this project (like a lot of people do here who deserve a lot of credit, not just members of the team).
Cheers...
