I am also getting this error at the moment but for me it is the least of my problems. I am currently having to restore my install by editting the SQL backup in a text editor. Not much fun!

I have not got this to work yet though.

Back to your error, I have ocassionaly seen this and even get it with there own SQL admin site. My suspicion is that they have set the security to not allow access to xml files. If this is the case then you have no option but to spend hours on the phone to 1and1.

Please let me know how you get on as I will have to tackle this at some point.

Please take some comfort, in that I am in the same position as you.

Unfortunetly I'm not in an area to where I can call support and sit with them for hours on end trying to solve this issue.  I've sent them an Email detailing what is going on with the server, but unfotunetly it usually takes them exactly 24 hours to reply.  I'll give you a heads up once I get this resolved.  If anyone else had this resolved and knows the solution please let me know.

Thanks,

-Scott
