Hi Cathal,

I have insufficient user rights to view the support/Gemini links you have posted.  How do I gain access to see these?

Do you know if 5.2.1 will include the bindredirect?  Right now when our clients upgrade to DNN 5.2 they immediately get errors when they try to access our LMS because of version differences in the Telerik DLLs (1st support ticket).  They we have to tell users how to add bindingRedirect to their own web.config.  Even with documentation this usually doesn't get done correctly - so there are follow on support tickets until the web.config is updated properly.

Hope this gets included/fixed.

Thanks,
Chris

whoops, sorry about that. They're actually logged in the dnnpro issuetracker by mistake - they should be in the publc one, but for a time the permissions were incorrect and dnnpro was visible to all and they were created in there.

yes, the binding redirect for telerik will be in 5.2.1

Thanks. The other request was about the Telerik chart handler. I think I've included this request in Gemini. Will this be also included?

I don't know, as we're unsure of  the exact web.config declarations for the telerik chartimage. This looked to be correct

but in http://www.telerik.com/community/forums/aspnet-ajax/general-discussions/iis7-telerik-web-ui-webresource-axd-chartimage-axd.aspx  the preconditions are different (don’t have the runtimeVersion2.0 preCondition)

also http://www.telerik.com/community/forums/aspnet-ajax/chart/rad-chart-requires-both-iis6-and-iis7-handlers-in-web-config.aspx shows the handler to have name="ChartImage_axd" , whereas the other documents show name="ChartImage.axd_*"

We're reaching out to our telerik contact to see if we can get a definitive for the appropriate version for the current asp.net ajax radcontrols product.

This is working for us, (DNN 4/5), but I'm not sure if in all IIS versions:

      <add path="ChartImage.axd" verb="*" type="Telerik.Web.UI.ChartHttpHandler, Telerik.Web.UI, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=121fae78165ba3d4" validate="true" />
