Thanks for the info! Based on the "Fortress_Update" comment, should we assume that SourceGear Fortress is used for SVN? If so, can we use the Fotress client to access the repository? Should we then use https://dotnetnuke.svn.codeplex.com/svn but what about login?

DotNetNuke uses Fortress as source code repository, but there is no public access to it - that's why chagesets gets replicated to Codeplex - unfortunately w/o original comments and references to Gemini items.

please check your web.config - if you did not rename release.cofig/development.config to web.config before opening the project in vs.net then it generates an empty web.config which misses all the necessary references and provider definitions.
