how do you mix .Net versions in a single app pool, I am not aware of this option (and it should be avoided, IMHO).

DNN show 3.5 framework and 2.0 but IIS AppPool work all on 2.0version. How you tell is true for 4.0 and 2.0(or 3.5) in this way is no possible to stay in the same AppPool. This because asp.net 3.5 is based on framework 2.0. For exampke Linq is based on framework 2.0 that link the linq dll on 3.5 framewok, this is how  IIS appPool work.

Hi Scippy,

I noticed your running DNN5.4 on two of your sites, my advice would be to upgrade these to 5.5.1....I was lucky with the CPU 100% issue on DNN5.4 and was able to remove the email option causing the issue from the users access.  I've not yet upgrade this site to DNN5.5.1, but have been assured by Chad that this issue is fixed.

Regards,
Dave.

Well!
I've monitored IIS activity for more than one week, and I'm glad to see that the problem was solved!
Now I'd like to know all DNN versions affected by this problem, if anyone knows.
Very thanks to David Lee!!!
