Lindsay,

Have you seen Steve Fabians blog series on WCF services and DotNetNuke?

http://gooddogs.com.dnnmax.com/Blog/t...

I found it quite helpful along with several tutorials from Michael Washington:

Yep, I have looked at those and implemented as much as I can. Great articles and source(s) of help! Steve has help me directly too.

I never use the DNN source, never compile it and only use the install version. Both Steve Fabian and Michael Washington seem to edit the DNN project, adding references and various items which needs to recompiled.

I'm trying to work around that. Don't want to touch the DNN source at all. No need to touch any DNN data, only that in my own tables within the DNN db.

My SL app/module runs outside of DNN and retrieves data as it ought to. Once plugged into DNN and on a page, it fails. THAT is my issue. All else seems to be ok until running from within DNN.

Not sure what I'm missing or failed to wire up. Or where to even look now.

Any other advice is most welcome!

Thanks
