Hi Costas, are you referring to multiple DNN installations? If so, check out www.iHostASP.net, they have plans for 1, 3 or 6 installations. I have been with them for almost three years, helpful support.

Are they good ? I mean as good as a shared service can be. Do you have a live website i could look ? PM me if possible.

Thanks

Costas, i recommend Hostgator (http://www.bit.ly/gatormode) Personal Plan for one site and Business Plan for up to 5 sites. You can get 25% discount on packages if you use HOSTMYDOTNETNUKE as promo code. The support is great. You are allowed to use SQL Server Management Studio to connect to your databases. The web panel is Parallels Plesk, the ip whitelisting tool is useful for whitelisting your ip address. You can send your database backup and ask the team to restore it for you.

I will pass with Godaddy ...

As for Hostgator i checked and i see Enterprise Plan for Windows. Is that what you mean ? Looks ok but i see nowhere DNN support...

Is Hostgator any good ?

thanks

Hi Costas, I have never used another host so have nothing to compare iHostASP to but you get what you pay for I guess. Most of my sites tend to be non-critical private projects for myself and others but check out www.1066-ice-skating-club.org.uk - I didn't get very far before the project was cancelled but you can get an idea about speed.

The website performs well (empty but i get the idea).

I cheched their plans and the only problem i see is tha lack of SQL 2008 and i can't go back from 2008 to 2005, it doesn't work.

Yes, Enterprise plan is the correct name for 5 websites or DNN installations. Basically Hostgator has been known as Linux based hosting leaders, but recently they have started hosting Windows applications. I have two plans for myself/family and many packages for my clients as well.

The staff cannot be compared to PowerDNN's support team, but until now, I got whatever the reply I needed. I can't guess what will happen for me at next months, but for know Hostgator seems a good and budget friendly solution for me.

If you need special requirements, you can visit Hostgator's website and chat with a Windows System Admin or a sales staff.
