Get the files and upload them to some ONLINE virus checker. That will tell you more.

its a good idea to run the site through the google malware checker - http://support.google.com/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=163634

Our site is registered with Google and looking in Webmaster tools, Diagnostics, Malware, google is reporting 'Google has not detected any malware on this site'.

I cannot upload the files to the online checker you suggested, I get the message 'You do not have permission to open this file' when trying to select it for upload !

Anything else to check ? thinking I will change our password for our database and keep a close eye on things, regularly run a virus check on the site files from here on.

Thanks again for your help.
