The Portal Alias is the Domain name of your website by which you are trying to access your website. This error means that DNN can't find the domain name in PortalAlias table. Let's assume the URL of your website is www.mydomain.com . Then make sure that there is an entry in the PortalAlias table which is mydomain.com. Hope this helps you.

Thanks,

Like Vikas stated, you have portals created on your other site that are listed in the database but they aren't on the new website. Make sure you copy the same directories to your new server and that should solve the problem.

Hi Vikas Saxena,

Thanks for you reply . Eventhogh I changed in the portalalias table  as localhost:81 as I  tried to set up locally ., still I got the same issue. Is any page where we can trobleshoot? Set up and all is very new for me.I don't have any idea how to fix this issue.

I think you need to give *much* more detail for anyone to help you.

What did you do?  What happened?  How was that different to what you expected?

If you are on DNN6 (you didn't even tell us what version you are using) then I think it is not the portalalias.  The default settings allow DNN to create portalalias rows on demand.

Best wishes,
