Just to clarify my post was simply meant to advance the notion that this might be confusing for some people who are not software developers. Additionally, this is atypical when it comes to how previous versions of DNN were released. That being said, I do think the tone of a previous post (not mine) was inflamatory, but that should just be ignored. The underlying issue was a concern for the good of the community as a whole and not an attack on the core team, who of course rock the docks. So lets all just let that one post go and concentrate on the task at hand here. Preventing confusion for the average user, and support headaches for the team.

It is a release..   anything could happen at anytime.   Not sure why somebody needed to introduce confusion at this point.

DNN does not do betas...  and there will be a minor release as typical probably in a month.
