My site is back to the constant restarts now. The DNN host settings reports 

.NET Framework:   2.0.50727.42

I' ve not yet asked for the patch to be installed, but that would appear to be newer even than both of Erik's?

Hi

When I asked for the hotfix they gave me the very latest version (IIS build), not the earlier version stated in the hotfix. It may well have been the build Erik was talking about.

Oddly once the hotfix is installed and you try and run a script to detect the version number, it seems to report the wrong version (in my case it still reports 2.0.50727.42).

Since I upgraded to V4.4.1, the restart does not occur anymore, or very very very rare.

I had this problem at the 4.4.0 times and I have implemented all the remedies mentioned here. I upgraded to 4.4.1 and asked my host support personnel to implement the IIS hot fix (I believe they did it). Everything was peaceful since.
Now, after upgrading to 4.5.0 I have the same problem again, and it persists with 4.5.3.
As it says in this thread – the 4.4.1 did not fix the problem, it just had a “less of a footprint”. So, what happened? Does 4.5.x have “more of a footprint”, or did my hosting support pullout the IIS hot-fix (or did not implement it in the first place).
I can’t get the host support personnel to acknowledge that the hot-fix is implemented. Can anyone direct me to the script that detects the installed version?
