Am experiencing the exact same problem, I've got a family site and my wife's sister cannot get to login.  My friend had to change security settings to login.  Hope someone's watching this and has the answer.

Thanks to the DNN team for their hard work!

You mean no one has managed to resolve this yet?  That's very strange, I still have the same problem, I've tried Googling still no results.
